Beginner’s Quilt Workshop Series – Part 1 Introduction to Quilting – Saturday, 1st March at 10 am

Welcome to Monique’s Beginner’s Quilt Workshop Series.  This is a 4 part series aimed at anyone new to the world of quilting.  The dates are Saturdays, 1st March, 3rd May, 5th and possibly 6th July or 6 September (to be confirmed).  During the lessons, you will learn all about techniques and terms used in quilting, how to cut fabric, how to use rulers, how to piece various blocks, how to put the quilt together, and how to quilt it.  By the end of the four parts, you should have a finished quilt!  Are you ready to jump in?

Venue:  Highett Neighbourhood House, from 10 am until 4 pm.

Cost is $10 a session.  Please remember to wear your name badge, BYO lunch, and a mug.  A requirements list will go out via email prior to the workshop.
